A particular focus of the LIMCR is leukemia research in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The special feature of the LIMCR research concept is the direct embedding of the research laboratory in clinical practice. The main objectives are, on the one hand, to link research on tumor material from cancer patients as closely as possible with clinical observations and, on the other hand, to transfer clinical experience to the laboratory and subsequently use the research results to establish new treatment methods.
